Shipping charges are available during checkout and are based on your order and FOB our Kelowna, BC warehouse. All shipping charges are in Canadian Funds and do not include applicable taxes and fees. Total amounts will be available prior to credit card processing. See below for exceptions. At this time, Canadian Restaurant Supply Ltd. (“CRS”) only ships within Canada to Canadian Addresses.

Carrier: The majority of our orders are shipped via Canada Post or Purolator. If you prefer an alternate carrier for your package, please telephone us toll-free within Canada at 1-877-722-2775 to place your order. Please note that our staff will need to calculate your actual shipping costs which will be applied to your order. Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Pacific Standard Time. Alternately, you can also email us at and we can contact you when we are back in the office.
Turn Around Time: Orders will usually leave our warehouse in 1-4 days. A Tracking Number and/or Link will be sent to you in an email when the item is shipped from either CRS or from the courier. Please check your “ Junk Mail” folder if you do not receive it in your “Inbox”. In the event of backordered stock, or an unavoidable delay, you will be contacted by email to notify you of the backorder or delay. Items with the availability of “Special Order” can take approximately 1-8 weeks for delivery, depending on the manufacturer. If your order contains a “Special Order” item, you should receive an email within 5 days with an estimate on how long your item will be before shipping.
Exceptions: Exceptions to the shipping fees will be on orders with items which are overweight and/or oversized, and will be subject to a separate freight charge. If a freight quote has already been obtained for an overweight/oversized item, then the shipping charges will be automatically changed to the quoted amount during order processing and your credit card will be charged the proper amount. If a freight quote has not already been obtained, then Gourmet Outfitters will email you the freight quote and await confirmation before processing your order.
Customer Pick Up: This optional service allows you to place your order on our site, and have it held at our Kelowna, British Columbia warehouse for pick up. Pick Up Service selection may be made during check-out on our website and is available only to users with an address in British Columbia. We will notify you via email when your order is ready for pickup, or if there are delays such as back ordered items. Please have Government Issued Photo ID available. If someone else is pickup up for you, please enter their name in to the “comments” during checkout, and advise them to bring their Government Issued Photo ID. Without proper ID, another form of payment may have to be secured before the order is released.
Payment: We accept Visa and Mastercard only. If you are interested in paying by money order, please telephone us at 1-877-722-2775 to place your order.
Harmonized (Provincial and Federal) Sales Tax (HST): Beginning July 1, 2010, CRS will be charging 12% HST on all orders shipped within BC. Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland/Labrador will be charged 13% HST, and Nova Scotia will be charged 15% HST. All other provinces will only be charged 5% GST with the responsibility of submitting PST/RST falling on the consumer within their province. Backorders: Occasionally we run into backordered situations because of supply fluctuations. If we happen to be backordered on any item, we will ship the rest of your order immediately and backorder the remaining item(s). We will ship out your backordered items when they are back in stock at no additional shipping cost to you. Please note that if any part of your order is out of stock we will contact you within 5 business days with an estimated time of when the item should be delivered to you. If you do not want the backordered item to be backordered then we will refund your credit card for the amount of the item and adjust your shipping charges if necessary.
Damaged Goods: When your parcel arrives, please take a quick look to see if the package is damaged in any way. If there is any damage to the package or your goods, please write 'Damaged' on the shipping slip above your signature in order to establish a claim. Then, please contact us immediately (withing 48 hours) to let us know of any damages. As no courier company insures or allows damage claims on glass and ceramic products, all shipped glass and ceramic products are final sale, and will not be returnable nor refundable, regardless of breakage.
Returns: We understand that making a purchase online or through the mail can sometimes mean you receive something that you are not completely satisfied with, for whatever reason. Therefore, if you are not satisfied with any part of your purchase, we encourage you to contact us to obtain an Return Merchandise Authorization. The exception to this is in the case of a final sale. In some cases, we may also assess a restocking fee of 25%. Please contact us at 1-877-722-2775 or at info@gourmetoutfitters.ca to obtain a Return Authorization Number. Please note: We cannot process refunds until we have received the product back in good condition. If you are shipping something back to us because you have discovered that it does not meet your needs, we do ask that you choose a safe method of shipment and ensure the product is properly packaged, and all pieces are included. This is an important step in ensuring that your refund can be processed effectively.
